Violence against the elderly is a topic that has gained increasing importance and aroused interest in the health area, since this population is growing and needing of specialized care in the general context, especially in relation to violence. This different view arises due an alarming number of notifications, which refers to the neediness of better understand the impacts of the episodes of violence in the health and life of the elderly. In this context, this study aimed to analyze the impacts of violence on the health and life of the elderly in the context of oral narratives. It is about a field research with exploratory-descriptive design and qualitative approach, carried out in the city of Cuité, with a sample composed of 09 older adults who have suffered violence and find themselves in assistance of the Centre for Social Assistance Specialized Reference (CREAS). For obtaining of the narratives was used a screenplay by semistructured interview and the data analysis was mediated by theoretical contribution the Oral History and of the Content Analysis, and operation after approval by the Ethics Committee under paragraph CAAE 23222513.0.0000.5575. Based on the narratives identified three thematic categories were constructed , based on the fragments of the stories of the collaborators , they are: I) Violence against elderly : contextualizing the scene of the crime, being possible to observe the characteristics of the act of violence , the types and their aggressors II ) Physical and Emotional Scars : the painful denouement of violence , showing all brands that aggressors end up leaving in the elderly , victimized by violence , and III ) Justice : the silence of the violated , the revolt of injustice and impunity for perpetrators , who described the outputs encountered by violated elderly and their respective behaviors . It is necessary, therefore, extend elderly care in consonance with legal requirements, ensuring their dignity, healthy aging and free risk of violence, and this should also be the responsibility of health professionals.
