From the world wars, female participation in the labor market gained prominence thus these workers now have legal protection, such as working hours, retirement, mandatory rest and maternity. Although pregnancy is a natural event, several changes occur in the body that addedsome work activities or not adapt the same, may pose risks to the pregnant woman. This research aims to understand the experiences of pregnant women during exercise professional. This is a study exploratory, descriptive, qualitative approach, which included the participation of 14 pregnant women performed some type of work activity, and had as research scenario the Basic Health Unit Dr. Vital Rolim, Cajazeiras-PB. They were interviewed in the month August 2013. The analysis of data was performed to interpret the words of the respondents and their organization by separating the subjects to be grouped into categories. The research followed the resolution which deals with research on humans. According to the results showed that the majority of pregnant women have gestational suffered some discomfort caused by their work activities, because these are very difficult to reconcile work and pregnancy, also highlighted the lack of information of both the employed and the employers about the rights of pregnant women and ergonomic risks that they run on your desktop. The women followed in the basic unit are assiduous in consultations but do not get a lot of information for health professionals. We conclude that there is a need to promote education and health programs aimed at this issue and greater care by nurses for healthy development and peaceful pregnancy.
