Resumo:
During the hospitalization, the child sees everyday completely changed in that
the contacts with friends, family and loved ones become restricted by rules and
routines of the hospital itself. In the quest for improvement of this problem, there
are techniques of Clownterapia, seeking work in the general perspective shift
from disease to health through activities ludoterápicas. From these practices,
the setting of care nursing staff can be improved, for a quieter atmosphere, with
children more receptive to treatment, begins to emerge. In this sense, the
present study aims: Knowing the repercussions of Clownterapia on the practice
of professional nursing for hospitalized children. This is an exploratory study,
descriptive qualitative approach. The population considered as research
subjects in this study was formed by the nursing staff (nurses and technicians)
working in care practices for hospitalized children in IJB. The instrument used
for data collection consisted of a semistructured interview guide, being prepared
in accordance with the position taken by the professional. As a procedure for
data collection was conducted individual interviews with each research subject.
After successive wiretaps, the speeches were transcribed verbatim and as we
were done reading, convergent themes were identified and grouped into
thematic categories for analysis. In order to preserve the anonymity of research
subjects and keep the agreement from the signing of Consent - Informed
Consent, each respondent received a pseudonym specific characters from
children's stories, thus, ensure privacy and confidentiality of all participants of
this. Through analysis of the speeches, were found three categories: a)
Problems inherent in the process of hospitalization, in the view of nursing, b)
Modifications dealt from the Clownterapia about the process of the child's
hospitalization and c) as a facilitator for Clownterapia Nursing practices. From
the comparison of the data and analysis presented, obtained grants to state that
in view of the nursing team some aspects were highlighted as points facilitators
for children, their caregivers and the professionals themselves, having in mind
the contribution of Clownterapia as facilitator for both the specific practices of
nursing, as the individual and collective aspect of hospitalized children. In this
perspective, we point to imminent need, the attention from the staff of pediatric
nursing, return his gaze to fill the emotional needs of the child, incorporating
new technologies that offer care and provide health promotion of hospitalized
children.
