Resumen:
The labor market in healthcare needs qualified and competent professionals to take over the management function and from this perspective note the importance of academic education of future nurse manager. Given the need for transformative educational practices, pedagogical approaches were proposed by Dermeval Saviani. The aim of this study was to reveal the contribution of the teaching- learning for training graduating in Bachelor of Nursing and nurse managers. This research was descriptive and exploratory qualitative approach, based on historical and dialectical materialism. The data analysis was performed using the technique of discourse analysis proposed by Fiorin (2005). It can be concluded that the pedagogical approaches of teachers of the discipline administration and management outweigh traditionalism however, it is suggested that this teaching is closer to reality , increasing the workload of the course with the inclusion of theoretical-practical activities in service health in its program content allowing the practice and a better appreciation of the discipline by students.
