Resumen:
It is known that education has a great role in all social changes; therefore, the initial formation of its professionals is extremely important. Because that way, the students of a degree in education are open-minded to new knowledges, so that they face the true classroom reality. From this perspective, the Scholarship Institutional Programme for Initiation Teaching (PIBID) proposes to encourage teachers to take a formation in higher education through didactic and pedagogical approaches that can bring the student of a degree in education the classroom context, by linking higher and basic education. This way, the present study seeked to investigate the possible constributions of this programme for future initiation formation of Biological Sciences´ teachers from CES (Education and Health Center)-UFCG (Federal University of Campina Grande). This research on education is inserted in a qualitative approach, in addition to use structured questionnaires , in which the participants reported their experiences acquired in the SIPIT. From the interpretation of their speeches, that were classified according to our view and objectives from the programme, it was noticed that when this ecouragement to a teaching formation, the valuation of the Magisterium, the integration between basic and higher education, the practice in the Professional Field, the effective participation of Secondary School´s teachers and the linkages between theory and practice were proposed, the programme seeked to give the students of a degree in education a formation substantiated in the reflection and problem view of real situations related to the teaching activity.
