Resumo:
Brazil in the last decades, an increasing increase in the number of accidents
involving motorcycles, vehicle that comes winning, more and more, the acceptance
and the population approval, for being an agile, economic vehicle and of reduced
cost. Ahead of this the goal of this study was To analyze the motorcyclists accidents
epidemic standard with victims in Campina Grande, of january by January of year
2009, starting from given of SAMU, as well as the trauma incidence and the factors
associates to his mechanism. For this, it was accomplished an epidemic,
retrospective study and,descriptive with quantitative approach. They were collected
the data 870 vitimas. According to obtained results was verified,predominance of
young adults of the masculine sex, the motorcycle conductors the main category. It
detected regarding the alcoholism state a significant number. The helmet utilization
as protection equipment was present in vitimas majority. Saturday and Sunday were
week days with larger number of rough victims. Already the most frequent lesions
went in the,inferior members, followed by the members,superior. It concludes then
that is,essential the implementation of preventive measures and an effective,traffic
education program.
