Environmental sanitation indicators are considered as an accessible and fast tool to promote a diagnosis and monitoring of the effective promotion of public policies in the environmental sanitation sectors. Thus the main objective of this research is to perform a diagnosis of the sub-basin of the Espinharas-PB River using indicators available in the National system of information in sanitation (SNIS) in the period 2013 to 2017. The information worked in the analyses considered indicators of drinking water and sanitary exhaustion of the sub-basin of the Espinharas-PB river, through the historical series available in the database system. For this purpose, we used a vertical and horizontal analysis technique to evidence the evolution of these strands and to know consequently an indication of the situation of the sub-basin studied. According to the results it is important to highlight that the indicators of the volume of water treated, consumed and invoked was observed, that the city of snacks in the years 2015 and 2016 had a percentage growth of prominence when compared To the other municipalities analyzed in the sub-basin of the Espinharas River. It is important to highlight that the volume of water in abundance can cause waste and in relation to the others, a percentage decrease in these indicators was observed, and this can be explained due to the water crisis that has plagued the region to almost 7 ( Sevens) consecutive years. Therefore, the use of indicators in a rational way proved to be an efficient tool in the rapid diagnosis of a given dimension, these known factors define the possible public policies of a region and is directly in the quality of Health conditions of Brazilian municipalities.
