The current epidemiological scenario shows an increase in the number of people affected by cancer, and as a consequence, the increasing use of substances capable of causing contamination to the environment and occupational diseases, thus necessitating a better management of the Residues of the Chemotherapy Services, the which are considered to be toxic, because of their potential for danger to human health and the environment. To verify the relationship between organizational management and organizational learning opportunities among professionals working in the management of the Residues of the Health Services of Chemotherapy in the reference units in the state of Paraíba-PB / BR. It is a quantitative research, exploratory and correlational, involving health professionals working in the field of chemotherapy in the reference hospitals in the state of Paraíba. The research sample will be snowball type and evaluated through G Power 3.1 software, which is used to calculate the statistical power relating the 'n' needed for the research and type of calculation to be performed. For this, in relation to the data collection of the research will be considered a power pattern (π 0 , 80), from which the ideal sample is expected to be verified. As instrument of data collection were used: Knowledge Management Scale and Learning Opportunity Scale in Organizations. The statistical package SPSSWIN, in its version 21.0, was used to tabulate the data and perform the descriptive statistical analyzes and the calculations referring to Cronbach's alpha, Pearson's correlation and Student's t-test. With regard to training for solid waste management of chemotherapy and knowledge management, it was observed that the lower the qualification, the lower the knowledge management; in relation to the meeting with the manager, the greater the frequency the greater the knowledge management. Unfortunately, the health sector has in its history intricate bureaucratization of processes, not only the management processes, but also the processes of incorporating innovations, which are increasingly necessary in the face of the competitiveness and the dynamism through which the processes of Cheers. That is to say, just like the other areas, health needs to update and follow market trends, but for this, we need to incorporate measures that value and have responsibility with who is at the end of the service: professionals who provide assistance to health, and in the context of our construct, chemo health professionals. Due to the lack of studies on this subject, it is suggested for future researches, to carry out more extensive studies involving the issue of chemotherapy residues and their risks to the health of professionals, and especially studies involving in this context the knowledge and organizational learning opportunity.
