Resumo:
This work proposes a user interface development approach based on models and multiple
evolving prototyping. The utilization of this type of approach consists of a decisive factor to
the effective adoption of models based approaches. In this case, low, medium and high
fidelity prototypes may be utilized in consonance with the different phases of the development process. Those phases are defined in the unified reference framework for multi-target user interfaces development, named Cameleon. Such approach leaded to MEDITE, which is a methodology to the conception of interfaces that points out to the use of different prototyping techniques and may be seen from the Cameleon's perspective. To support this approach and speed up the interface conception process, a user interface development environment, the FastInterface, was conceived and validated in the scope of this work.
