Redes de conhecimento em Smart Security: uma abordagem bibliométrica e agenda futura.

Abstract

Urbanization combined with digital transformations poses new security challenges for smart cities. This study addresses the research question: how is the scientific literature on smart security presented? Its objective is to perform a bibliometric analysis to identify the thematic evolution of smart security research. A quantitative, exploratory-descriptive methodology was adopted, employing bibliometrics through R and VOSviewer software. Ten thematic clusters were identified, including ‘Security and Privacy in the Internet of Things Applied to Smart Cities,’ ‘Artificial Intelligence Tools for Security,’ and ‘Security and Privacy in IoT-Based Smart Cities.’ The study concludes that smart security is an emerging field with continuous growth, possessing distinct characteristics, tools, and standards that call for future research, particularly in developing interoperable architectures and protocols for IoT and creating security frameworks to mitigate vulnerabilities and support post-attack recovery strategies.
