Trata-se de oferecer ao leitor um breve histórico do surgimento desta área de estudos na Itália, com apontamentos sobre autores, obras e períodos relevantes. Foi privilegiada a abordagem de obras de Paolo Chiozzi e de Francesco Marano, a partir das quais tornou-se possível delinear os principais elementos que têm caracterizado a consolidação da Antropologia Visual na Itália, bem como refletir paralelamente sobre o desenvolvimento desta área no contexto brasileiro. |
| Abstract: | This article deals with historical, theoretical and methodological aspects of the Visual Anthropology through the work of two Italian researchers. The matter is offering to the reader a brief historical of their beginning in Italy that includes more relevant authors, images and phases. It has been preferred the perspective of Paolo Chiozzi and Francesco Marano’ s works, as a start to allow the definition of the main elements characterizing Visual Anthropology’ s consolidation in Italy, just like reflecting on their growth in Brazil. |
