Desafios educacionais de alunos migrantes no contexto da migração de retorno: um estudo de caso em Poço Dantas-PB.

Abstract

This word presents the educational challenges of migrant students facing the return migration from São Paulo-SP to the city of Poço Dantas-PB. The importance of the research is to bring visibility to the problem, giving notoriety to this school problem and promoting reflections and discussions on the issues presented. After a long period that marked the Northeast by mass migrations, understand what they were consequences of this phenomenon in education and how to include migrant students in a school space that allows and guarantees their learning and their rights. The main objective was to investigate the insertion of migrant students who returned from the Southeast to Poço Dantas-PB, the methodology adopted was a bibliographical analysis of literature with emphasis on relevant books and articles on the subject, and the application of a survey quantitative with students from schools in the city of Poço Dantas-PB, with the purpose of addressing the main characteristics of these students who migrated, and the results will be described in this research. It is concluded that the difficulties of integration are linked, in most cases, to prejudice against and socioeconomic aspects, which harm the academic performance of migrants. In addition to highlighting the problem presented, the research sought to raise alternatives to improve social problem.
