Abstract

This report refers to the activities developed at the Desembargador Botto da Meneses State Elementary School, encompassing the first phase of elementary education, and subsequently at the Monsenhor Constantino Vieira Municipal Commercial College, corresponding to secondary education, in the city of Cajazeiras/PB. This fulfills the tasks related to the Pre-School Supervision Internship, which aims to characterize the school in terms of its physical and functional structure, as well as to understand the teaching-learning situation and the contributions the school makes to the community and vice-versa. Through contacts with school administrators, teachers, students, and the community, we had the opportunity to learn about the existing problems in current education, especially in the teaching-learning process. In order to put into practice the instructions received throughout the past periods, we carried out this experience with the intention of applying acquired knowledge. And with this, we aim to guide teachers in the best way possible, so that they can become aware of their true role as educators, as well as demonstrate the importance of curricular content corresponding to the reality experienced by the student, thus providing a better level of learning.
