Abstract: The use of effluents, such as human urine and manipueira, in agriculture aims to provide them with an adequate final destination, promoting their reuse for soil fertilization, since they have large concentrations of essential nutrients for plant development. This research aimed to evaluate the growth and production of chilli pepper cultivated in soil fertilized with human urine and manipueira treated in a protected environment. The experiment was carried out on Campus I of the Federal University of Campina Grande, Campina Grande - PB. A completely randomized design was used, consisting of 16 treatments, with combinations of human urine + manipueira (ranging from 40%, 60%, 80% and 100% in relation to the amounts of N (for urine) and K (for manipueira) present in the effluents, recommended by Novais et al., 1991), and three replications, totaling 48 experimental units. The growth variables evaluated were: plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area and root length. In the production it was estimated: Dry and fresh phytomass of the aerial part, of the root, of the fruit and total; length, width, number of fruits per plant, number of seeds per fruit and yield. The results obtained from the growth and production variables were subjected to static analysis by the SISVAR 5.6 software and the means were compared by the Scott Knott test at 5% significance. The pepper plants subjected to 60% cassava plant and 80% human urine (URIMA 1) had the highest averages for height and stem diameter in all growth phases; For quantity of leaves the highest averages were found applying 100% of manipueira and 100% of urine (URIMA 10) until 90 DAT, at 120 DAT it is indicated to apply high concentration of K; The combination of 80% of manipueira and 100% of human urine (URIMA 4), had greater accumulations of fresh and dry phytomass, both in the aerial part and in the total; For the root part, the highest average of fresh and dry phytomass were obtained with the application of 60% of cassava tree and 40% of urine (URIMA 2); The treatment consisting of 40% of manipueira and 40% of urine is the most indicated to obtain greater productivity (URIMA 11); It is recommended that for the vegetative phase the application of 60% K and 80% N and in the production phase 40% N and K.
